Heart damage risk from excess endurance training
Marathon runners, triathletes and long-distance cyclists could be doing harm to their hearts in the long term, cardiologists say.
The June issue of the Mayo Clinic Proceedings includes a review of how excessive endurance exercise is thought to cause damage to the heart.

Skechers Proves We Need Clinical Trials Of Running Shoes
I’m of the opinion that we don’t run enough clinical trials for things that are not obviously medicines or medical devices, but that people generally assume have health benefits. Things like yogurt — and sneakers. Today, Skechers proved my point by getting in trouble with the feds.
